NEW BALANCE BY TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO: SUMMER '21
Tapping its Japan-based collective once again - New Balance unveils its latest capsule by NB Tokyo Design Studio. Utilizing retro and modern aesthetics, the 2 shoes featured in this Summer 2021 Collection offer premium constructions and fresh designs. The Boston-based brand's Tokyo Design Studio draws inspiration from street & menswear fashion as well as technology in their latest creations.
Working atop one of NB's most iconic silhouettes, the 574, TDS gives it a dressy makeover layering luxurious smooth leather and pigskin suede overtop the classic mesh panels. A striking 'Classic Burgundy' contrast can be seen at the heel of the 574 while the often seen 'N' side logo's are remove subtly. Giving the 574 its dressed up look are a welted midsole (cushioned inside with EVA foam), and treaded VIBRAM outsole providing elevated style and usable traction.
Offering a completely different scope from the 574TDU, Tokyo Design Studio unveils its Niobem Concept 2, a technology-based 'sneaker-meets-sandal' silhouette. Covering most of the shoes upper is a breathable mesh material, that is matched by tonal suede overlays, as well as an 'Indigo' blue midsole. Showing off its high-tech features, the Niobem Concept 2 is seen tooled with a VIBRAM outsole for traction and grip on uneven surfaces. Finishing off the sneaker-sandal is an all-new buckle fastening system in place of a traditional lacing.

AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO 'ELECTRIC GREEN'
Iconic as the silhouette Michael Jordan took through is 1991 NBA season, and first world title - the Air Jordan 6 Retro is loved by many for its sleek, motorsport-inspired design, tooled with plenty technological updates from its predecessor the Air Jordan 5.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Electric Green' is an all-new addition to Jordan Brand's Summer Collection. The popular 6th Retro silhouette comes constructed with a black nubuck upper featuring brightly contrasting 'Electric Green' accents on the midsole, heel, and lace-lock and branding. The midsole takes on a unique approach with semi-translucent pods that hosts a glow-in-the-dark feature.

NIKE 'PLANT CORK' PACK - AIR MAX 90 SE
Nike has been constantly testing new designs and adding a variety of mixed materials atop some of their most historic and iconic silhouettes. This latest 'Plant Cork' Pack debuts as part of Nike's ongoing 'Move to Zero' campaign and takes inspiration from the Summer Season playing with deep colors borrowed from organic plant dyes. The pack includes the popular Air Max 90 silhouette, redone with an all-new material execution as an SE (Special Edition) model.
Arriving in a 'Coconut Milk' off-white as well as an 'Obsidian' navy denim iteration, each sneaker is tooled with unique recycled cork material detailing throughout its upper. Seen adding a unique texture to the classic Air Max, the cork Swooshes are also complimented by a new cork-like regrind tooled to the outsoles, as well as the heel stamp. A plant emblem embroidery design sits alongside a small Nike check at the tongue, a nod to the special design seen throughout this 'Plant Cork' Pack.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW OG 'NEUTRAL GREY' WOMEN'S
Hot off the heels of the previously seen Men's iteration - Jordan Brand's Ladies division follows up with the release of a Women's example of the popular 'Neutral Grey' Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Carrying forth the energy brought on by the release of the 1985 Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Neutral Grey' earlier this year, the Jumpman Brand returns with the much sought after re-introduction of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG 85 'Neutral Grey' - the original low-cut version in the iconic grayscale colorway.
Constructed as close to specification of the OG - the 'Neutral Grey' AJ1 Low receives a premium leather upper, borrowed from its high-cut sibling. The the low-cut silhouette's smooth White leather is contrasted subtly by 'Particle Grey' detailing on throughout, most notable on its Swooshes and heel tabs through a buttery suede execution. Finishing off the sneaker is the same 'Neutral Grey' shade applied to the sneaker's outsole and inner collar lining. As with the original - this Jordan 1 Low gets iconic Wings logo embossed at the heel.

ADIDAS STAN SMITH 'PRIMEGREEN'
With over half a century of lineage, the adidas Stan Smith has solidified itself as one of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes of all-time. Most notably through its simple design, the Stan Smith has gone on to inspired countless court sneakers after it. Sporting a simple flat low-profile outsole, leather upper, perforated 'Three Stripes' and green on white colorway, the original '65 version has seen a slew re-releases and reimagined iterations - most recently, this all-new 'Primegreen' series.
A push to sustainability by the German-based sportswear brand - the classic silhouette is constructed as part of the label's 'Primegreen' line utilizing a series of high performance recycled materials. The Stan Smith stays true to tradition with its white leather upper with perforated 'Three Stripes' branding on each side, available in 2 different white examples. The first features added details to the design including a green heel, and printed doodle graphics placed over top over the entirety of the upper with an off-white rubber sole to complete the look. The second - a more subtle execution, sees a primarily white upper and matching midsole, with doodle graphics at the heel.

NEW BALANCE 'USA' M990VS2 VERSION SERIES
The second-part to New Balance's 4 Part 'Version Series' 990 collection, the M990VS2 has been unveiled - complete with a set of all-new details never before seen on the silhouette. Following the VS1 990 seen last month, this V2 iteration of the popular M990 silhouette has also been crafted by the brand's highly-skilled shoemakers in its USA workshop.
Bringing the inspiration down to the roots of the 990 silhouette, the 'Version Series' tells the story of the models transformation throughout the years. This Version 2, possibly the most popular rendition of the 990 is seen in typical New Balance fashion sporting a grayscale palette of mixed tones. Added pack-exclusive details include the high-contrast white lacing, as well as bright red hits at the tongue embroidery, as well as the 'Version 2' tag on the sneaker's sidewall.

AGE KOREA - CAMOUFL'AGE' PACK
Co-founded by Jun Ho Lee and Sung Won Kim, Korea-based footwear imprint - AGE debuted in 2017 with a series of minimalist and elevated designs. With a focus on quality and construction, AGE's sneakers are created with a premium yet approachable aesthetic. This season, AGE's line-up includes its most popular silhouettes - the CUT and TOP sneakers. Designed with the seasons in mind, the collection utilizes technical features and detailing.
Utilizing a military-inspired rip-stop canvas, the CUT and TOP sneakers are each reimagined in a set of earth-toned colorways. Available in both a dark charcoal grey, and 'Sage' olive green, each example features a slightly-platformed textured midsole, in a high-contrast off-white. Unique to these renditions of the silhouettes are surplus-styled text applications screen printed to the side panels. The unique set is completed with a special matching tongue tag.

AIR JORDAN 1 MID SE 'BRIGHT CITRUS'
Jordan Brand has seen a streak of sought after releases of the timeless Air Jordan 1 silhouette and its variants. This Summer 2021 sees an eye-catching seasonal tone of 'Bright Citrus' orange which was previewed earlier this year on an the Air Jordan 11 Low, also as a Women’s exclusive. The brand switches things up in a reverse appearance on the Retro 1 Mid SE (Special Edition) with the 'Bright Citrus' shade seen applied on the rubberized leather underlays and collar with a crisp white leather overlayed on top.
The same simple white shade decorates the side panel Swooshes and midsole, keeping the design a bit more toned down to allow the bright pop of color to take the stage. The orange hue also dresses the Wings Logo which appears on the side collar along with matching insoles that are contrasted by a white Jumpman logo. The lacing system, while simple in appearance, includes speckled reflective detailing. Other highlights to the mid-top sneaker include a white tongue that is contrasted by a 'Bright Citrus' Jumpman logo that completes the look for the all-new Ladies design.
