NIKE 'PLANT CORK' PACK - AIR MAX 90 SE
Nike has been constantly testing new designs and adding a variety of mixed materials atop some of their most historic and iconic silhouettes. This latest 'Plant Cork' Pack debuts as part of Nike's ongoing 'Move to Zero' campaign and takes inspiration from the Summer Season playing with deep colors borrowed from organic plant dyes. The pack includes the popular Air Max 90 silhouette, redone with an all-new material execution as an SE (Special Edition) model.
Arriving in a 'Coconut Milk' off-white as well as an 'Obsidian' navy denim iteration, each sneaker is tooled with unique recycled cork material detailing throughout its upper. Seen adding a unique texture to the classic Air Max, the cork Swooshes are also complimented by a new cork-like regrind tooled to the outsoles, as well as the heel stamp. A plant emblem embroidery design sits alongside a small Nike check at the tongue, a nod to the special design seen throughout this 'Plant Cork' Pack.

Drawing inspiration from military informed style and practicality, the new Spring 2021 Nike releases have infused both in a subtle fashion by utilizing stronger and heavier materials for their classic Air Max 90 silhouette in a multitude of tonal colorways. Following a few colorways, a new olive green hue arrives at SNEAKERBOX with subtle hints of volt green on the toecap to add a touch of boldness.
The colorway is influenced by classic military camouflage patterns and uniforms. The hue is used in nearly every fixture atop the construction including the mudguard, toe box, eye stays and heel tab with very little color deviation from one to the next. The mudguards and vamps are dressed in a robust textured leather, while the panels adjacent use nylon, mesh, and the typical rubber molds.The olive sneaker features an internal stash pocket on the tongue, sporting heavy duty materials for a workwear meets modern sneaker design.
