The new 990v3 ditches the usual suede overlays for premium leather atop the mesh base, opting for a tonal off-white 'Sea Salt' makeup enhanced by ‘Rain Cloud’ grey and reflective accents. Tapping its second (V2) 990 model, NB utilizes premium materials in an understated colorway on the USA-made sneaker. The second-part to New Balance's 4 Part 'Version Series' 990 collection, the M990VS2 has been unveiled - complete with a set of all-new details never before seen on the silhouette. Following the VS1 990 seen last month, this V2 iteration of the popular M990 silhouette has also been crafted by the brand's highly-skilled shoemakers in its USA workshop.
Bringing the inspiration down to the roots of the 990 silhouette, the 'Version Series' tells the story of the models transformation throughout the years. This Version 2, possibly the most popular rendition of the 990 is seen in typical New Balance fashion sporting a grayscale palette of mixed tones. Added pack-exclusive details include the high-contrast white lacing, as well as bright red hits at the tongue embroidery, as well as the 'Version 2' tag on the sneaker's sidewall.

Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of New Balance's iconic 990 model - the Boston-based sportswear giant unveils its all-new 'MADE' series, with monthly releases of the sequential 990 models.
First up of course, the 990 V1 (Version 1) takes center stage in a familiar Grey colorway, crafted in the USA and featuring additional details never before seen on the V1 990 silhouette. Honoring the sneaker first debuted in 1982, the 'MADE' series M990VS1 boasts a traditional blend of suede and mesh on its upper, with a bold White 'N' logo applied to its side in a smooth leather. Bright ruby-red hits denounce the special iteration via tags on the mid-foot and tongue, as well as on the spell-out text seen on the silver 3M heel tab. A set of White laces and a custom insole graphic noting the 'Version Series' sneaker complete the design.

NEW BALANCE 'MADE IN USA' M990KBM2
New Balance brings forth its latest Made in the USA 990 iteration using a natural color palette of greens, greys and hints of blue. The silhouette is constructed from a premium nubuck upper in an olive green-tinted grey, while a lightly toned blue dresses the mesh underlays seen throughout the vintage running shoe.
Like many New Balance models, the upper sits atop a rubber outsole in contrasting crisp white with included ABZORB technology for added comfort. The sneaker also sports a leather tongue in a lighter neutral grey that is slightly contrasted by the white stitching on the tongue tag announcing the '990' silhouette. The 990's signature 'N' logo sits on each side panel in a white leather with the same blue tinted outline, while a 'USA' stamp sits at the heel in bold silver-grey lettering. The lacing system on the silhouette also has the same blue tint that contrasts the greyish upper perfectly. This iterations release is a perfect palette for the Spring/Summer Season with the perfect mix of neutrals.

NEW BALANCE 'MADE IN USA' M990GRY
Celebrating 39 years since the silhouette's first debut, New Balance unveils its limited-edition re-release of the classic M990GRY, Made in the USA to the Boston Footwear giant's original specification. Seldom seen in its original Version 1 (V1) shape, the 990's iconic design inspired many of the brand's most popular models, such as the 574, following its release. Having now been iterated in 5 different versions, the 990 V1 still remains one of the most collectable among New Balance fans worldwide.
True to its 1982 construction, the M990GRY sees a mix of tonal grey's on its upper, in a mix of suede and mesh. White contrast details can be seen on the 'N' Logo and lacing, while a reflective 3M tab is added to the heel. A vintage off-white heel support wraps the back of the sneaker, and a pre-ENCAP era EVA foam cushioned midsole complete the 990.
