The New Balance 992, one of the most coveted models in the 99X series makes its return this Spring in an all-new 'Tan' suede iteration. The historic Boston running-shoe company has revived the 992, rumoured to have been conceptualized by the late-and-great Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple.
Crafted in the New Balance's Boston workshop, the USA-made 992 puts an emphasis on quality. Featuring a mix of muted tones of Tan and Beige, the M992 sees an upper blending mesh, pigskin suede, and smooth leathers. Supporting the retro runner is a full-length ABZORB cushioning within the midsole for long-lasting comfort.

When the shoemaker William J. Riley produced his first sneakers and insoles in Boston in 1906, he had one idea in mind: Give people with foot problems a perfect fitting shoe. So he called his products New Balance. Because his sneakers exceptionally considered the natural form of the human foot, they were soon worn by thousands of athletes all over the world. In 2010, the New Balance 2002 was the pinnacle of performance running footwear. Ten years later, the sneaker returns with slight updates and in 2 new colorways, bone and green. Following the release of its innovative TDS Niobium Concept 1 sneaker, New Balance’s forward-thinking Tokyo Design Studio now presents its latest run of running footwear in the form of the 1300 silhouette. Modernizing the classic 1300 running shoe via R_C sole unit upgrade, the few releases so far have mostly consisted of colorways designed from surplus materials, and the latest release is no different.
Arriving in two colorways, “Pigment” navy blue and “Workwear” brown, this two pack of MS1300’s uppers are made from materials sourced from the United States factory’s scraps, removing them from becoming excessive waste. The suede is paired with white mesh underlays and New Balance ‘N’ logos, while reflective 3M heel tabs complete the look.

NEW BALANCE x JADEN SMITH - VISION RACER YELLOW
Doubling down on the bold design of the Vision Racer by New Balance and Jaden Smith, the latest iteration of the sneaker sees the application of a vivid hi-visibility yellow color. The Vision Racer combines aesthetics and features of Jaden's two favourite silhouettes - the 1700 and X-Racer. As part of New Balance's sustainability initiatives, the Vision Racer's construction features a variety of different recycled materials.
Seeing an upper made up of a combination of mesh and leather panels, the sneaker's bright yellow color is contrasted by hits of grey and white on the sides and midsole. The use of black on the heel clip, tongue tag, and piping text further highlights the unique lemon-colored sneaker. The Vision Racer is finished off with its signature translucent outsole, stamped with a large pink 'VISION' graphic.

Drawing inspiration from archival sneakers from New Balance's past, the all-new 327 embodies a 70's style runner, with a modern twist. A mixture of slim and chunky, the 327 blends modern technology with classic design.
Setting its sole down as possibly the most wearable and a simple iteration thus far, this all new black and grey New Balance 327 is the perfect offering as we enter a season transition. Atop a white midsole with a gum-bottom outsole, this 327 features an all-black upper, composed of a nylon and suede blend. Tasteful contrast is added to the 70's runner via a grey oversized 'N' logo on the sneakers lateral side, and a white tongue, with a popping red tag.

NEW BALANCE x JADEN SMITH - VISION RACER 'WAVY WHITE'
The all-new Vision Racer, a collaborative project by New Balance and 'Icon' artist Jaden Smith. Futuristic in its design, the Vision racer infact combines elements from 2 existing New Balance silhouettes, the 1700 and X-Racer. Environmentally progressive, the Vision Racer is constructed using recycled materials such as polyester from post-consumer goods, and repurposed foam and rubber on the soles.
The sneaker's unique appearance is first noted by its thick white EVA midsole, separated into 3 blocks along the footbed. White mesh around the upper, is surrounded by leather overlays. This 'Wavy White' iteration of the Vision Racer features hits of yellow and navy blue on the upper.

A favourite among many, the M990 V2 makes its return this Summer in a classic blend of different tonal Greys. Hand-crafted in the USA, the M990GR2's upper features the highest standard of material quality, immediately apparent in the texture of the suedes and leathers used.
The V2 990, often loved for its thick 'ABZORB' midsole unit, also features ENCAP sole shock absorption, and mesh paneling on the upper of the sneaker for breathability. Known for its long-lasting durability, and supreme comfort, the 990 is finished off with reflective 3M detailing on the 'N' logo and heel branding.

Conceptualized by Menswear label - J.CREW, and iterated here in an all-new 'Rust' motif, the New Balance 327 sees a blend of earth-tone colors. Atop a baby blue nylon upper, this 327 sees overlays of Rust brown and Smoke grey suedes, while a white sole and white laces add minimal contrast. Finally, the MS327JC1 is finished off with a heel-to-toe wrapped gumsole, featuring large cleated-like tread.
