Founded in 2004 by Masafumi 'Bebeton' Watanabe, BEDWIN & THE HEARTHBREAKERS represents a staple in Japanese fashion with a global design influence. Teaming up with Vans' Vault division this Summer, Bedwin and Watanabe unveil a 4-piece footwear collection, driven by the Cali-based megabrand's historic footwear silhouettes melded with 1920's and 30's Americana styling.
Both the OG Authentic and OG Old Skool as part of this offering are seen here tooled with Vault by Vans' LX sole. Each sneaker in the pack also take on a thematic 'Bandana' motif. The Old Skool, as well as the Authentic get remixed with USA-made bandanas, cut-and-sewn in a patchwork-like design, ensuring each pair is uniquely different. Blending different cut pieces of the bandana to each panel, these Bedwin Vans see a blend of different colors including blues, green, yellow, red, pink and purple. Each sneaker is finished off with a bold contrasting midsole foxing and iconic 'OFF THE WALL' red heel tab, with bright red or yellow Waffle outsoles, complete with co-branding on the tongue tags.

New Balance continues its partnership with Jaden Smith after releasing a variety of colorways and iterations of his popular Vision Racer silhouette. The Vision Racer takes inspiration from Jaden’s favourite NB models - the X-Racer and the 1700. The collaborative project continues this Summer 2021 Season, this time around in one of the most neutral iterations thus far. Tailing New Balance’s ‘Grey Day’ Pack, the exotic sneaker boasts a similar palette of mixed grey tones which compliment each other effortlessly on the upper.
The sneaker design is constructed from recycled polyester which is mixed with meshing for a sustainable and environmentally conscience design. The re-grinded midsole in white is formed with a repurposed foam that is complimented by an ice blue outsole. White lacing matches the midsole for a clean and contrasting look. Other features include hot pink Vision Racer Logos that sit in an oversized typography under the sole as well as on the insoles. The chunky styled shoe is also built with New Balance’s signature comfort and support on the heel.

Rhuigi Villaseñor returns as lead-designer in collaboration with Puma for an exclusive capsule collection this Summer 2021 Season. Not only does it include a new take on the iconic Puma suede silhouette, but also unique new apparel garments to add. Rhuigi, known best as a creative and owner behind high-end streetwear brand - RHUDE, and brings his popular aesthetic to each of his pieces in the assortment. The Puma Suede sneaker features a premium material execution and construction as both leather and suede are combined across the upper. A unique additions to the silhouette include: a brown colored faux crocodile leather heel tab that adds a touch of luxury to the design, as well as a unique new wrap around leather mudguard/toecap panel. The classic formstripe logo on the side panel is dressed in a green hue that adds a perfect contrast. A set of fat laces tie back to the Suede silhouette's historical timeline.
On the other hand - the apparel takes on a mix of bold and neutral color tones, primarily utilizing a beige 'Oatmeal' color, as well as a deep 'Surf the Web' royal blue on many of its pieces. Tees, track suits and a button down shirt make up the collection also playing with the same tone of green matching the footwear pairing. Goodhood is an East London-based fashion retailer that focuses on influential and lifestyle design. This latest collaboration between the London-based heritage fashion imprint Fred Perry and Goodhood focuses on independent spirit, unique style expression and an overall celebration of independent thought.
The capsule collection features pieces from Fred Perry’s classic polos to a uniquely designed cut-and-sew elongated parka jacket. The main palette featured on the designs is minimalistic consisting of only black and white with mixed materials that accent each piece such as the “Think about what you think about” quote that is mixed into each garment. Each piece in the collection also features a lower hem patch with co-branding from each collaborator.

Puma has released its first ever collection with fashion imprint Maison Kitsuné - who's designs utilize a Paris-meets-Tokyo aesthetic mixed with the sportswear heritage of Puma. The collection doesn’t stray far from Kitsuné’s more simplistic creativity playing with earthy and neutral tones mixing quality utilitarian Tokyo street style with French upscale tailoring and classic silhouettes.
The limited edition collection features a combination of both Puma's Fastcat and M.K’s 'Kitsuné' fox, layering the brands logos on a multitude of their pieces. Garments include oversized graphic and embroidered tees in black, white, French maroon and brown as well as a classic MCS Track Jacket in the Parisian flag palette. Billionaire Boys Club, a label founded in 2003 by Pharrell Williams and Bathing Ape's Nigo - is a considered by many one of the founding fathers of modern streetwear clothing. The brand has seen updates and innovation over the past few years, including but not limited to their ongoing collaboration with footwear-giant Reebok. This Spring 2021's collaboration focuses on an intergalactic theme, dressed up on the Instapump Fury with added BOOST sole technology.
The 2 iterations are both constructed of a Cordura fabric with unique color motifs. The first pair is seen dressed in a light 'Dandy Blue' with black and yellow accents, while the second takes on a military inspiration in a mix of 'Pine Green' with taupe and and muted orange detailing. Both pairs sit atop a white BOOST midsole and gum rubber outsoles and are complete with a mixture of small embellishments that attain to the Collection’s theme. Some of the added details include a rocket ship keychain hang tag, galaxy-printed insoles, and BBC's signature astronaut mascot on the tongue's air pump.
