NEW BALANCE 'PROTECTION PACK' M2002RDA RAIN CLOUD
First introduced by New Balance in 2010, the 2002 sneaker has gained traction for its retro style design, unique detailing and lightweight construction. The silhouette has been reimagined for this upcoming Fall '21 Season as part of the 'Protection Pack', designed with a deconstructed appearance. A follow-up to the previously seen cream-toned 'Sea Salt' colorway, this 'Rain Cloud' Grey example contrasts the tonal look of the former with a mixed grayscale panelling design on its textured suede panels which are layered with visually unfinished edging around the uppers, heel and tongue.
Although the sneaker sees underlays of mesh for breathability and comfort, small coloured embellishments appear throughout the branding and midsole. A tonal grey rubberized 'N' logo sits on each side panel outlined by a white thread embroidery. Completing the look is a weathered grey midsole and black which appears dusted slightly off-white in color matching the upper's grayscale design. New Balance keeps comfort as key with their ABZORB and N-ERGY cushioning technologies to provide support made for wear.

Setting in motion the Boston-brand's Fall 2021 Collection, New Balance unveils its latest iteration of the iconic 990 silhouette. Tapping its second (V2) 990 model, NB utilizes premium materials in an understated colorway on the USA-made sneaker. Featuring a grayscale makeup, the V2 990 sports an upper tooled with mixed mesh, pigskin suede, and leather of black, white, and grey tones. A two-tone grey ABZORB midsole sits below, while hits of silver 3M on the upper add subtle contrast.

Although the shoe seems simple in appearance, small coloured embellishments appear throughout the branding and outsole with touches of blue on the embroidered 'N' logo and rubber midsole as well as a dark pink N-ERGY logo on the top of the midsole. The classic 2002R sits near the heel in a red and blue two-tone colorway while a foam tongue can be seen on the inside of the shoe in yellow to match the heel underlays. A bright white rubber 'N' logo sits on each side panel outlined by a shiny thread embroidery. Completing the look is a weathered rubber sole which appears slightly off-white in color matching the tonal design. NEW BALANCE x JADEN SMITH VISION RACER - 'TEAM AWAY GREY'
New Balance continues its partnership with Jaden Smith after releasing a variety of colorways and iterations of his popular Vision Racer silhouette. The Vision Racer takes inspiration from Jaden’s favourite NB models - the X-Racer and the 1700. The collaborative project continues this Summer 2021 Season, this time around in one of the most neutral iterations thus far. Tailing New Balance’s ‘Grey Day’ Pack, the exotic sneaker boasts a similar palette of mixed grey tones which compliment each other effortlessly on the upper.
The sneaker design is constructed from recycled polyester which is mixed with meshing for a sustainable and environmentally conscience design. The re-grinded midsole in white is formed with a repurposed foam that is complimented by an ice blue outsole. White lacing matches the midsole for a clean and contrasting look. Other features include hot pink Vision Racer Logos that sit in an oversized typography under the sole as well as on the insoles. The chunky styled shoe is also built with New Balance’s signature comfort and support on the heel.

NEW BALANCE 'GREY DAY' 2021
New Balance, long standing 'Grey Day' celebrates its iconic monochromatic palette, and the annual festivities continue this Summer with the introduction of 2 new silhouettes. This 2021 'Grey Day' sees the introduction of the 'Un-N-Ding' deconstructed 574, as well as a greyscale 57/40 coinciding with the recent launch of the new sneaker.
Simple for everyday wear, the 574 model partakes in the celebration constructed primarily in suede and overlayed with mesh materials that sport a shimmering golden finish. Removal of the classic 'N' logo on the outside wall is balanced by the addition of an embroidered 'New Balance' logo on the inside suede wall of the sneaker. Other details include vintage off-white hits on the midsole, heel wrap, and laces, as well as gold highlights on the heel tab and tongue tag.
Complimenting the retro 574 is its modern new relative - the 57/40, also seen here in its 'Grey Day' motif. Utilizing a blend of different shades atop the upper, the 'Grey Day' 57/40 sees light, medium, and dark greys, contrasted by white on the lacing, tongue tag, and oversized 'N' logo, as well as a perfectly tooled off-white midsole.
