Nike’s recent 'Sports Specialties' EMB pack is an homage and celebration of the sports teams that call the City of Los Angeles home. The latest Air Force 1 High follows the pack, designed in an 'L.A Dodgers' team color palette of Royal Blue and White. The design is a mirroring of the team’s home game jerseys, the silhouette's blue canvas sits atop the toebox, eye stays, oversized Swooshes and strap. 

The rest of the sneaker's upper takes on a classic white leather that is a traditional application on the classic Air Force 1 design. Further detailing is added with calligraphy-like text along the side heel that says 'Nike' in a Dodgers' logo style in the same matching blue - along with a 'Sports Specialties’ label on the tongue.

Since its revival last year by Teddy Santis and his fashion imprint 'Aimé Leon Dore', the New Balance 550 silhouette has regained much of its popularity for its vintage basketball aesthetic. With much international attention under the spotlight, the brand continues to play with new colorways and interpretations of the classic retro model this 2021 Summer Season.

Three new colorways start off dressed primarily in a classic white leather styling with contrasting overlays along the side logo, outsole, collar and tongue. The first plays with a brighter 'Canary Yellow' hue, a bit more bold than the other two muted releases. The second, sees the same colored panels as the former, this time in a washed vintage sportswear-inspired 'Maroon' burgundy. Finally, the most simple of the trio, a Black iteration sticks with a darker neutral contrast. The BB550 silhouette also utilizes suede along the toebox for added texture in a slightly greyish tone for a vintage feel.

Originally designed for Allen Iverson on the court, the Reebok Question Mid is set in history as one of the most iconic player-directed basketball sneakers. Inspired by a 2003 P.E (Player Exclusive) worn by Kobe Bryant, this 'Yellow Toe' Reebok Question Mid wears the iconic colors of Kobe's Los Angeles Lakers jersey. Jordan Brand’s latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE is an ode to the 2021 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities. The appearance of the iconic silhouette highlights white leather toe-boxes, quarters and collars - contrasted by black patent leather on the mudguards and eye stays. The heel, collar, and Swooshes are constructed with a textured carbon fiber print for a subtle detailing that can be seen reflected on the patent leather. Some other features unique to the Gradeschool sneaker include a circle-enclosed Jumpman logo that sits on the tongue and insole. This Spring, the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE makes its return with a familiar 'UNION L.A'-style color-blocking. Dubbed the 'Court Purple' Mid SE, this fun spin on the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro utilizes a mix of materials and colors, perfect for the transition of seasons.

Built atop the popular Air Jordan 1 Mid silhouette, the Court Purple's see an upper decorated in a combination of White, Black, Court Purple, and Particle Grey. A White smooth leather sits on the toe-box, mid-panel, and ankle flaps, overlayed with a stark Black thick-pile suede on the toe-box surround, eye-stays, and Swoosh.  Jordan Brand has unveiled a Gradeschool-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 12 Retro silhouette in a bright “Arctic Punch”. This iteration comes in time for the Spring/Summer Season taking on a neon-like pink hue contrasted by a white base. The sneaker maintains a textured and hand-dyed appearance. The same pink shade takes on a stronger tone in neon sitting along the inner lining, upper eyelets, heel tabs, midfoot support, and detailing on the branded tongue. The rest of the silhouette is simplified by its white leather tongue, mudguard and lacing system. Other features include a pink neon heel tab with Jordan branding and Jumpman logo embellished on the tongue. The model flaunts the pink shade across its upper with an overlayed white crackled paint finish. Jordan's number '23' is also imprinted on the heel’s midsole to finish the look.

Marking another very highly anticipated release this Spring 2021, Jordan Brand has gone back to Michael Jordan's College-Basketball roots and tapped his University of North Carolina (UNC) jersey colors. The 'University Blue', a name synonymous of many past successful Jordan releases, graces the Air Jordan 1 High once more this Season.

The silhouette is designed with its traditional white tumbled leather upper on the quarter panels and toe-box, contrasted by University Blue suede overlays. The blue suede is seen on the sneaker’s mudguard, eye stays, heel and collar flaps. Black covers the Swooshes, ankle collar, and lacing while a white midsole sits atop a blue outsole to complete the design. The remade silhouette is crafted true to its original construction of the White and Neutral Grey iteration that first released in 1985.

With a recent focus on debuting new colorways of the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro, the simplified vintage pair is the perfect contrast for any collector or Jordan enthusiast. The silhouette is dressed in a premium white leather paired with matching white shoelaces and accented by the “Neutral Grey” suede which is seen detailed on the collar and Swoosh.
