The Air Max 97 is the latest AM silhouette to receive Nike’s new “Terrascape” treatment, which focuses on outdoor-appropriate upgrades and sustainable materials. Keeping to its distinctive ripple design, the sneaker utilizes recycled mesh and TPU for a more breathable upper paired with a reinforced mudguard for extra durability. Nike Grind brings another element of circularity to the pair, while an enlarged Swoosh toward the heel and a ‘Terrascape’ branded pull tab provide the finishing details.
