Nike brings back the retro AF1 Mid ‘Independence Day’ for the first time since its initial release in 1997. As its name suggests, the pair sport a patriotic makeup of white, blue and red with the first two colors hitting the tumbled and pearlized leather uppers and the latter accenting the Jewel Swoosh. Red continues on other branding hits at the heel, ankle strap, tongue label and AF1 debossed lace dubrae, while underfoot, a white midsole and translucent outsole round out the design.
