In April 2021, Aimé Leon Dore’s founder Teddy Santis was appointed as the creative director of New Balance’s ‘Made in USA’ range and as we've seen with the recent releases, his debut collection has proved its success. Sporting a darker palette, the 990v2 combines camo-colored mesh with premium pig suede overlays in pitch black. The design is balanced out by cream hits on the tongue, laces and ABZORB midsole - giving the elevated sneaker Santis’ signature vintage appeal.
