The aptly named Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Brotherhood' pays homage to Michael Jordan’s fraternity days at the University of South Carolina. Color blocking on the shoe takes inspiration from the historic Omega Psi Phi fraternity, combining 'Light Bordeaux' and 'University Gold' throughout the tumbled leather uppers. Following its initial release on the AJ1 Retro High in 2018, the 'Bred Toe' color-blocking scheme finds its way back to the Air Jordan 1 Low model. The leather upper combines a Black forefoot overlay with a toebox, ankle collar and heel done up in 'Gym Red'. Borrowing from the 'Black Toe' design, Black covers the laces, tongue and lateral Swoosh. Crisp White rounds out the design on the side panels, midsole and Wings logo branding at the rear of the silhouette.

Arriving as possibly THE most sought-after Jordan Brand release of 2021, the year comes to a close with the launch of the all-new Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Patent Bred'. Fittingly named for its colorway heritage and material updates, the 'Patent Bred' AJ1 joins a family of historic 'Bred' (Black & Red) Retro's.
This time around, remixing the usual full-grain leather upper with patent, the iconic high-top sneaker's treatment projects an almost resin-coated styling. Still staying true to the 1985 iteration, the shoe receives the usual contrasting White midsole and matching Red outsole. Debuting this Winter as a Ladies-exclusive release, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG gets a bubble gum-themed makeover dubbed the 'Atmosphere' for its unique Pink shade. Further setting this example apart from other Air Jordan 1's, the 'Atmosphere' mixes patent leather and a soft pebbled leather.
Utilizing the bubble gum 'Atmosphere' Pink hue on the patent leather toebox and heel, the Retro features a dark 'Obsidian' Navy on the Swoosh, toebox surround, eye-stays, tongue and collar. Contrasting the other two tones on the iconic high-top are White hits on the side panel and midsole as well as the tongue tag.

The Fall 2021 season sees an all-new Air Jordan 1 High OG launch - dubbed the ‘Prototype’, this unique colorway is full of bold colors and mixed materials. The silhouette sees a palette of White and 'Total Orange' along with blue, grey, beige and black detailing. Constructed primarily from leather, the hi-top sees nubuck overlays along with reflective 3M silver details throughout. Other details include a perforated collar that can be cut to alter the AJ1's form from high to low top and white contrast stitching along the Swoosh and heel.

Throughout the year, the Jumpman brand has unveiled multiple Women's-exclusive colorways in its most popular silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. This latest example of the iconic high-top sees the introduction of an all-new 'Seafoam' Green iteration.
Working atop a simple White base in a smooth leather, a pastel-like 'Seafoam' Green takes the center-stage on the design as it overlays the toe-box surround, heel, eye-stays, Swooshes, as well as the outsole. Although the rest of its design is seemingly two-tone, the 'Seafoam' AJ1 gets an extra pop of contrast via its unique Orange-edged laces.
